Just wanted to give everyone a heads up on our new measuring form.

The new form is a little more detailed and offers blank spaces for you to input your measurements. This might make things easier for those of you who aren't sure of what size to order. 

We know it can be hard to take proper measurements by yourself, so ask someone for help to get a more accurate measurement.

Buy Our Western Show Couture at Congress!

Our friends at The Wire Horse will be selling our western show couture at this years All American Quarter Horse Congress next month in the Congress Hall Annex building at booth 1320 (right next to Chicks).

You will be able to find these lovely jackets among others at the trade show.

Perfect Fit EqueLuX Show Pants NOW AVAILABLE in Black,Chocolate Brown & Charcoal Gray

I know I mentioned this briefly in our last blog but I wanted to give you guys a little more information. As the title says we now have our new show pants available in chocolate brown, charcoal gray and the original classic black. You can purchase the classic black in "slim fit" or "relaxed fit". The charcoal and chocolate pants are currently only available in "relaxed fit"  for now. (click the photo for a larger view)

All pants come with a: side zipper, 2 inch belt loop and a 36 1/2 inseam. We offer free hemming on all of our pants. You can include the length you wish to have them altered to at checkout. *Please note, all hemmed pants are final sale. Refer to our site if you need help taking your measurements. 

Autumn is just around the corner...

With the Autumn equinox just around the corner, I couldn't be any happier. It has been so hot in Southern California for quite some time and I know we're all ready for cooler weather. 

Have you seen our new items listed this past week? We have lots of new items that will get you ready for the the season change. 

The Elegant Vines jacket makes me think of the seasons changing. This jacket is perfect for riding classes and events. 

The bronze pearls in the Copper Sky jacket is what makes this one of my new Autumn favorites. They go so elegantly with the the sky blue and clear crystals. You'll not only look great in this jacket, you'll feel great.

Just a heads up, we had some problems with the site not loading on iPhone 6's recently. The issue has since been worked out with our IT department and should be running smoothly now. I was really bummed when it was crashing. I personally love a little online window shopping on my phone in my pj's.

Hello Ladies & Gentlemen!

It was so hot in LA this past week that I literally melted! High of 97 today in our neck of the woods and possibly 100 in nearby neighborhoods, yikes!

We have some great stuff in the works. More one-of-a-kind ready to wear jackets coming your way. We sure love creating new styles around here! Be sure to check out our site for the most up to date styles and sizes available.

In future news we've expanded our line of EquiLux perfect fit black pants to charcoal grey and chocolate brown. We will be offering a unique one-of-a-kind line of jackets for both new pants. The expected release date is set to September 1st. (Fingers crossed!)

There's a new graphics gal in town and shes going to be giving our site a makeover. Keep an eye out for some new sparkly eye candy! I sure do love good graphics!

I am so in love with these two new jackets! 

The Reflective Noir jacket is absolutely stunning with the embellishments we have featured on the collar and cuffs. Here at Lisa Nelle we are known for our collars and I must say we might have out done ourselves this time. The turquoise elements in this showmanship jacket add such a beautiful touch to this overall elegant piece.  

I must have a thing for turquoise because this Turqa Elements jacket is one of my absolute favorites right now. The colors just pop and scream show stopper. This jacket is definitely not going to stay in our shop long so get it now before its too late.

Spring Cleaning Tips and Tricks for Show Apparel

Looking for easy and inexpensive ways to keep your show apparel looking like new? Here are some awesome tips to kick off your Spring with a fresh new start!

• Are your crystals looking a little dull? Before you throw away that tissue paper from your Lisa Nelle package, use it with window cleaner to make your crystals sparkle again!

• De-pill your clothes with a shaving razor then remove the lint with some tape.

• Before you turn stale bread into croutons or bread pudding, you can use the stale bread crust to remove dirt from suede. Just don’t reuse the bread after cleaning!

• If you don't have shoe polish on hand, grab a towel and rub your leather boots with a bit of lotion to bring them back to life.

• Fix a stuck zipper with a cotton swab and petroleum jelly. Your zipper will glide smoothly.
• Use a mixture of vinegar and cold water to scrub water stains off of leather.

• To keep your tall boots staying upright, use wine bottles or pool noodles to store them.

• Did you know that a piece of plain white chalk can absorb grease and oil stains from fabrics? Just rub the chalk over your greasy stains and then wash as usual.
• Remove deodorant stains from your tops with dryer sheets.
• Getting ready for your next big show? When you pack a suitcase, wrap your shoes in a shower cap to protect your clothes from dirt.
• If you have new shoes but they're a little tight, stretch out them out by placing a bag of water in each shoe and leave them in the freezer overnight.

• To remove makeup, like foundation, from shirt collars use shaving cream.

• To remove a lipstick stain, spritz the fabric (make sure it's not dry-clean only) with hairspray, and let it sit for a few minutes. Dab the stain, and then toss it in the washer.
