Knock Offs Vs. Inspiration

Here at Lisa Nelle Show Clothing we take great pride in all of our designs and efforts to make our customers look glamorous in and out of the ring. So when we come across other "show clothing designers" that are clearly using our designs as their own, it really grinds our gears. It is one thing to be inspired by fellow designers and its another thing to blatantly copy someone else's work. 

Here's a lesson to those copycats out there...

This is an example of inspiration. We saw an ad in the Equine Chronicle featuring a beautiful jacket by Showtime Show Clothing and immediately fell in love with the blue and green ombre tones. This is how we were inspired...

We're flattered that these "designers" are so in love with our work. However when other companies steal our designs and claim them as their own it cheapens the whole idea of showmanship. Copycats are not designers, they're thieves, and to top it off we find many of these poorly made knock offs priced higher than our original designs.

Fall heat wave!?

If you live in California then you know what I'm talking about when I say Fall heat wave. Its October and the rest of the week is going to be in the high 90's. 

Last I checked Summer was over....So with that in mind we designed two new beautiful showmanship vests that will look great and feel great in this weather.

As you all know we are always coming up with new designs for our fellow equestrians to enjoy. Here are a few of the new jackets we've been busy making. Keep an eye for them this month. 

Moments Notice

This jacket is incredibly sharp and chic with a touch of edge. We’ve embellished a true black body in lt. blue applique along with thousands of silver studs, crystals and other high end elements. We have used our signature base fabric. It’s comfortable, high end, washable and has a structured stretch that gives an incredibly flattering look. The best part about this jacket is the versatility; you can truly wear this jacket as a showmanship or pleasure jacket or horsemanship shirt.

Razor Sharp

The name speaks for itself. You will look razor sharp when you step into the ring in this showmanship jacket. This black based jacket has been hand embellished with a high end mix of Swarovski crystals, silver applique, screen printing and other high-end embellishments. You can pair it with classic black riding pants and look elegant as ever.

Purple Nova

This jacket is covered Swarovski crystals and the star embellesiments. You will be a definite show stopper in this jacket. Wear with black, tan, brown chaps. With things starting to heat up again, we've come up with a few new vests that will surely keep things a bit cooler in the ring. 

We call this the Mariposa Collection. Each of these vests have been exquisitely designed with our riders in mind. You can wear them all with black riding pants and a fitted white tee underneath or a long white riding shirt (weather permitting). 

We’ve combined an incredible, rich mix of elements to each vest. You’ll show and win with confidence in any of these stunners. It took over 20 hours each of hand embellishing to create these world class showmanship vests.

We have embellished this jacket with blue and gold applique, giant crystals, gold rimmed stones and gold metal rings.

Mariposa Chic

This jacket was made with white and gold applique, giant crystals, gold rimmed stones and gold metal rings.

Mariposa Pink

Embellished with pink and silver applique, giant AB crystals, pink and AB Swarovski crystals, over 100,000 silver studs and silver metal rings. This showmanship vest will definitely turn heads in and out of the ring.

When I think of the word "noir" I think of classic Hollywood, french films and dark undertones. That is the feel we went with for our Noir Collection.

Padparadscha Diamonds

This is a sharp, sophisticated jacket with nearly 50,000 sparkling crystals. We’ve combined a flattering swirl design on the body and sleeves along with incredibly detailed embellishments on the cuffs and collar. The mix includes padparadscha and clear Swarovski crystals, gold studs, mirrors and iridescent pearls. Padparadscha is a unique shade of crystal only offered from Swarovski, it’s hard to pronounce. It’s a rich coral and so pretty!!
