NYC inspiration!

I just got back from a  trip to New York and if you haven't noticed by now, whenever I leave LA I always come back with new inspiration for our western show clothing.

I found this fabric in my travels and there was just enough to make ONE  jacket, I hope you like it as it will be the only one of its kind. I call it the NYC InVest shirt, and believe me when I say; this showmanship shirt is a definite investment.

Showmanship Do's & Don'ts

When picking out your showmanship outfit you need to follow these steps:

Get measured by a professional before ordering an outfit online. Sometimes when we try to measure ourselves the size ends up being inaccurate. You don’t want to order a showmanship suit with the wrong measurements and be stuck with something too big or too small with no time to alter.

Shop smart. I know there are a lot of companies that make showmanship clothing on the internet but that doesn’t mean that they should. Always check reviews, they can save you the heartache of ordering something that you might not ever see or be able to return.

Color Coordinate with your horse, you can’t be the only one that looks beautiful in the ring, make sure he/she has a matching saddle pad (don’t be too matchy!)

Be different! You don’t want to look like everyone else. Don’t be afraid to stand out and be noticed.

Palm Springs

I designed this one while on a weekend getaway with a couple of friends in Palm Springs. The desert is like nothing else and I wanted this vest to be the same. This vest has been hand embellished in the most incredible design. We’ve used shimmering blue and coral applique, Swarovski crystals and other high end elements. This vest is definitely one of my new favorites and it's sure to go fast.

Mocha

I recommend wearing this vest with a simple long sleeve, stretch cotton top or basic fitted collar-less t-shirt. You’ll ride comfortable all day and the look is tailored and flattering. You can pair this vest with a black, white, or any color in the design shirt. Love Teal? Match with a teal shirt and saddle pad. I love black for horsemanship and either white or teal for trail, pleasure, reining or western riding.

Inspiration Spain!

I just got back from a trip to Spain and I must say I was inspired. Barcelona had so much to offer. The beauty of the city was amazing and I wanted to come back home and design with Barcelona in mind. Below is the first in our new Barcelona collection. I call it Puzzled Metallo.

This jacket is incredibly sharp and chic with a touch of edge. We’ve embellished the body in silver applique, matte silver metal squares and black diamond Swarovski crystals. We have used our signature black base fabric. It’s comfortable, high end, washable and has a structured stretch that gives an incredibly flattering look. The best part about this jacket is the versatility; you can truly wear this jacket as a showmanship or pleasure jacket or horsemanship shirt.
